COVID Victoria/Melbourne Stage 4 Restrictions – Supply of BBEA Products
Since the announcement by the Victorian Government regarding Stage 4 Business Restrictions in Melbourne Metro on Monday, Brown Brothers Engineers Australia has been classified as an essential and critical supply business as per the Victorian Government’s approved category for on-site work.
Our Dandenong facility will remain open with ongoing COVID Safety plans implemented, regularly reviewed and followed by BBEA staff.
We have implemented some new procedures and restrictions concerning product pickups at the Dandenong facility.
Our focus is on the safety for all our staff, customers, suppliers and the greater community.
We trust you continue to be safe and well during these challenging times.

Brown Brothers Engineers Australia Response to Coronavirus
Brown Brothers Engineers (BBE) are fully operational across our three facilities (Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane). Internal customer service, warehouses and engineering workshops are functioning normally. We are still dispatching and receipting product from all three warehouses.
BBE Australia are mindful of the growing concerns regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and its influence on your business and the potential challenges we face and the importance of working together to support each other.
As you would be aware this virus and its impact is rapidly changing and we are updating our protocols accordingly:
- In light of the many requests we have had from the Dealer network, we are minimising social contact by either not calling or limiting our Area Sales Managers (ASM) personal sales calls on your business premises.
- We have implemented that all ASM’s will be based from home, as of 18/03/2020. If you need to contact your ASM directly please call their mobile or email. If you’re unsuccessful, please call or email your local State office and our internal sales team will be able to assist.
- BBE and our supply partners are confident there shouldn’t be major impacts on the receipt of stock and goods.
- We have an increased focus on hygiene and cleaning as per advice of relevant authorities.
Our intent is to maintain normal operations for as long as public health guidance allows - and most importantly, the health of our employees and customers.
We will keep you updated should there be any changes to our ability to service your needs.
